Slovakia,
what comes to your mind if you hear Slovakia? Probably you’ve already been to Czechia (and Prague), as you know, we were Czechoslovakia (from 1948 until the Velvet Divorce, so, since January 1, 1993, we are 2 independent countries). Slovakia is famous for untouched nature and its national parks (9), brown bears, and of course medieval castles and medieval towns. UNESCO sights such as Banska Stiavnica town, Bardejov town, Caves and unique Wooden Churches. Slovakia is known for rich folk traditions and musical instrument – flute Fujara. Traditional meals such as Bryndzove Halusky (potato dumplings with sheep cheese and bacon), Strapacky (potato dumplings with sauerkraut), Cesnacka (onion soup), Kapustnica (cabbage soup). And yes, we’re friendly and hospitable people.
Our top Guide-drivers are from our travel team. We have visited every region and have in-depth knowledge of Slovakia history, art, architecture, culture, Slovakia under Communism as well as present-day life.
