On our private walking Jewish Heritage tour, we'll give you a comprehensive overview of the rich Jewish History in Bratislava. We'll drive to see the Chatam Sofer memorial,- the burial site of the Chatam Sofer who was a prominent rabbi and scholar in the 18-19th century who established a famous yeshiva. It is visited by Jewish pilgrims from all around the world (the visit must be pre-booked). Afterwards, we'll continue to see the only still standing and operating Synagogue. Then, we'll walk to see the place where once a Neolog Synagogue used to stand and visit the former Jewish Quarter. While walking on Zidovska ulica / Jewish Street, we'll also mention the famous Jewish personalities they lived and worked in Bratislava (at that time Pressburg) and show you where the Great Synagogue, the yeshiva of Bratislava, Neolog and an Orthodox schools were built.
